Food

A seasonal daily menu inspired by producers across the region and our bush kitchen garden will leave you happily full, content and energised for the exploring ahead. Traditionally we eat in line with the weather and keeping with the activities for the day.

With breakfast in the bush being the most important meal of the day, a buffet of wholesome traditional day starters such as signature porridges and mueslis, assorted bread, fresh press juices & smoothies, eggs any style, and local bacon and sausages along with endless fruits of the season are standard fair.

Nourishing stews with damper cooked over an open fire in the crisp evenings, light yet filling local line caught roast barramundi and fennel with a farro salads before a siesta in the afternoon are some examples, check out our Facebook for some of our signature dishes.

A pot of tea or coffee is always on the brew, with energy packed bush smokos and refined morning teas at the ready.

A carefully crafted bar menu ensures that even though you are away from 'civilisation' a refreshing and unique beverage is there if you desire.

Rest

The main camp is also another space to completely stop. Hammocks, day beds and couches ensure you can take in the view in absolute comfort. The Map corner is filled with things to keep the most interested minds engaged, with an array of maps, charts, library of books, puzzles and boardgames. Our collection of 'Tools thru time' sparks many conversations with our guests as well.

A ready supply of flora and fauna guides, binoculars, and interpretive resources are always at arms reach.
